The Penn Yan Flying Club exists to provide safe, inexpensive flying for its membership and to further the cause of General Aviation in the Club's extended community and providing aircraft and supporting services to its members. Independent instructors approved by PYFC can provide checkout and training for Cessna and Piper aircraft.

Club Facilities
The Club maintains several buildings on the property. These include a barn with meeting rooms on the lower level and aircraft storage on the upper level, a large hangar (constructed in 1997) for up to 6 aircraft, two T-hangars, and an enclosed hangar for a single aircraft. In addition we retain usage (it belongs to the county) of another large hangar which houses 4 (or 5) aircraft. There are several other member owned hangars on the property. Such hangars may be built with approval of the board of directors. Hangar space is generally available for rent by members.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for lessons, merchandise, or application to member's accounts are available. Just fill out the application and mail it or drop it by the club with cash or check and we can take it from there. If you want more information on this contact Bob Mattick at 315-789-7955.
